Brief Description:

The Kansas City Trail Nerds is an adult trail running group and is a part of the Kansas City Track Club. We have multiple trail races each year, including 3 ultra events, plus we organize up to 10 social group runs per week. A group run schedule is posted on our site: trailnerds.com.

Additional Information

You do not have to be a Trail Nerd member to attend any of our events or training runs. Membership costs $15 a year for which you get a discount at selected running stores. Individual memberships are $15. Family memberships are $20. FOR AN ADDITIONAL $10 DOLLARS, you can get a black short-sleeve t-shirt with the Trail Nerds logo on it. You can pick up your shirt from Ben Holmes on one of our training runs or events, or e-mail him with your mailing address. badbendrs@yahoo.com

Not-for-profit:

KC Track Club is a 501c3 charitable organization. By the way, the Trail Nerds have performed a lot of trail maintenance in the area, and give a great proportion of our proceeds to the Kansas Trails Council and the Earth Riders Trails Association.  Membership proceeds (after expenses) to go to the Kansas City Trail Nerds (KC Track Club) for trail maintenance and trail building activities.
